April 2015 Events Around the State


April flowers means the Pickens Azalea Festival and the Festival of houses and gardens in Charleston. If you want more festivities, check out out Abbeville’s French Heritage Festival which includes tours of churches and a car show,  St. George’s World Grits Festival, and the Colleton Rice Festival.

In the mood for more history related activities?  Musgrove Mill Revolutionary War Encampment Weekend at Musgrove Mill Historic Site will demonstrate how life was in the colonial times of the South Carolina as well as reenact the battle of Musgrove Mill.  Or how about the Black Cowboy Festival in Rembert at Greenfield Farm? This includes workshops, demonstrations, story telling and more.
